Where is the money for this coming from? We are fortunate to have started and built up, with the help of many people, one of the largest online dating sites on the web. We are even more fortunate to have done this without taking any money from investors. As a result, HOTorNOT makes enough money for us to run this sweepstakes. $200,000 is not an insignificant amount of money to us by any means, in fact it is quite significant. That is how strongly we feel about this.
But you know, I could care less if it's real or not. If they can get people to register, good for them. Getting them to actually go out to the voting machines on election day is yet another obstacle to conquer. . .
wolfwings - 03:03 pm - Bingo!
I honestly don't give a damn if I ever see one penny of that winnings. Getting people to register to vote is over half the effort of getting them to vote at all. Anything that gets them to go through the web-page clickyness to register to vote is a step in the right direction. :-)
wolfwings - 05:46 pm - Wanted to. =^.^=
Bumped into you at CaliFur (I was one of the screwballs trying to keep the video-game room operational), found out you had an LJ only recently (was visiting Rex Fenris's place to work on his computer, Midnight stopped over to do something between moping and get drunk), so I added you.

Where are these kids getting the money for this?
Suspicious.
